Prove It! is a huge campaign SGA hosts on campus every two years. People submit ideas to improve campus and the winning ideas are given money to make it happen.
Anyways I got to design the new logo! These are two of the rejected designs, haha.
This is the final logo for medium to large stuff. Everyone thinks I found the retriever somewhere… nooo! I drew it :’(
here’s the version of the logo for small stuff like applications (though it can also go bigger).
The second image is what the t-shirts will look like :3
I apologize for the terrible photo (lighting in all UMBC housing is consistently awful, apparently), but these are some of the things I designed for Prove It! I also did a 3x8ft banner and a 20x30in poster, but those are hanging around campus (perhaps I’ll get a picture of them at some point).
EDIT: updated with a better photo :)
here’s a close up of the sunglasses since you can barely tell what they even are in the first photo, lol.
I had nothing to do with this other than the logo, but Chad did a great job designing/coding it!
this is a logo for OCGA, an organization on campus…. They came to me with the idea and all I had to do was make it pretty.
haven’t updated for awhile, so here’s something to keep my blog alive.
Did this two years ago, when UMBC switched to a new mascot. We got to vote, and all three choices were terrible. So I drew my own just to prove you could make a mean looking retriever without it looking derpy.
It’s showing its age but eh, I’ve got nothing better to show you guys ;~;
quick logo for a friend’s project she’s entering in a competition. She came to me with the idea and a thumbnail, so it only took like 45 minutes to do.
yeeeaaaah just spent the last 5 hours vectoring these.
For my independent study we’re (theoretically) rebranding the Maryland Zoo, mostly focusing on wayfinding. These are the first drafts for the icons. The squares are the icons for the wings of the zoo (from top: Polar Bear Watch, African Journey, Maryland Wilderness), and the circles are individual animal exhibitis. Hopefully you can tell what those are, but in case you’re confused: snowy owl, cheetah, otter.
Colors are going to change too, they’re just placeholders at the moment.
